If you opt for post-graduation in Yoga, you should be a holder of Bachelor’s degree in any field.

• Gordhandas Seksaria College of Yoga & Cultural Synthesis have different types of Certificate Courses, Yoga Training for teachers of schools, Advanced teachers training courses in yoga.
• Pranava Yoga Dhama in Mysore specializes in training courses of intensive teachers, instructors in Yoga Therapy course and other special programs and courses, such as hatha yoga, basic yoga asanas, pranayam, yoga during and after pregnancy, etc.
• Purna Swasthya Yoga Therapy Centre, Mumbai specializes in the yoga therapy and other respective courses, such as, backache, frozen shoulder, coronary artery diseases, cervical spondylosis, bronchial asthma, and program for weight loss, dyspepsia, osteoarthritis and other simple courses on techniques of pranayams.

Individuals interested in the yoga trainer course can appear in the entrance exams held in the month of May – June organised by many states and independent educational institutions. The entrance exams usually contains objective type questions in English, GK, Aptitude, any one local language, basic teaching of arithmetic subjects.

Certificate course for Yoga Instructors for which class 12th pass students are eligible. The university also offers PG Diploma Course Yoga studies and M.Sc. in Human Consciousness & Yogic Science. For PG Diploma and M Sc course graduate students from any stream are eligible and certificate course students are preferred.

3. BHU, Varanasi
Courses Offered:
BNYS Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yoga Sciences (30 seats ) ( Under Self Financing) The course in 4 and half years with 1 year rotating internship.

4. LAKSHMIBAI NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, GWALIOR (Deemed to be University) ( A ++ )
Offers MA in Yoga and 1 year PG Diploma in Yogic Education . There are 20 seats in MA course and 20 seats in PG Diploma course. The admission is through an entrance test.

7. GANDHI NATUROPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, Hyderabad offers 5 ½ years Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS) Degree Course consisting of 4 ½ years regular study and one year internship at teaching hospital Nature Cure Hospital from the academic year 1989-90 with an affiliation of Dr. N.T.R.
University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada with an intake of 30 students per year, through the EAMCET.

8. SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, Ujire ( Karnataka ) offers Five & Half years Bachelor Degree in Naturopathy & Yoga (BNYS) and Three years’ MD course.
