The Delhi College of Vocational studies, Delhi University is a co-educational college founded in 1972. It is a pioneer in offering vocational education and helps in bridging the gap that is between traditional university education and the changing conditions in the society and economy. Along with vocational courses the college has honours courses in commerce, economics, history, business economics and computers.
CVS aims at interweaving general education along with skills and knowledge required in work-oriented conditions. With helping in acquiring intellectual skills, the programme incorporates knowledge of computer and software application. The curriculum has been restructured and reflects upon issues and concerns as per the changing socio-economic environment.
