Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
Eligibility

This is a 2 year full time program approved by AICTE. This is the flagship programme of the Institute, comparable to the MBA level programmes of premier business schools in India and abroad.The two-year programme is designed to prepare competent men and women for careers in management in the corporate sector and in public systems.Besides professional expertise, emphasis is on training students for collaboration and teamwork through the development of human relation skills, and of attitudes which elicit a commitment to excellence along with awareness of their social and ethical responsibility.

The minimum requirement for admission to the Programme is a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised university/deemed university.

Entrance and Admission requirements

Applicants are required to take any one of the Admission Tests: XAT to be conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur or CAT to be conducted by IIMs.The Institute will decide the section-wise as well as total cut-off marks which will be used for short-listing the candidates to be called for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the XAT/CAT as well as in the Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview (which factors in the past academic record and relevant work experience). The selected candidates will be informed by mail.

Eligibility

This Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Human Resources) is an AICTE approved two-year full-time residential programme with a sharp focus on 'People Management' in the emerging knowledge economy.

Xavier Institute of Management made an innovative departure by emphasizing the need to expand the use of management science to rural sector in the form of creating managers not only for corporate sector but also for the social sector.
