Started in 2003 as a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry, SACAC is a multi-disciplinary institute with programmes in Advertising & Public Relations, Creative Photography, Film Production, Journalism and Sound Design .

Sri Aurobindo Institute of Mass Communications is a centre for learning that promotes individual growth with emphasis on deeper understanding of creative expressions and mass media. It is aimed at equipping students to join the industry with confidence, innovative thinking and ample technical skills. SAIMC conducts one - year professional programmes in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations.
SACAC is a unit of Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS) conducts research in the fields of social thought, human values, cultural traditions, education, psychology, health, management, arts, economics to name a few. It tries to explore the deeper essence of human endeavor, in order to transform the collective life of humankind into an expression of a higher Truth and Consciousness.

Within the city, SACAC was established in 2002. Located in the heart of South Delhi, in the sprawling green campus of the Delhi Branch of Sri Aurobindo Society, it has earned name and recognition as a centre for learning and excellence.
