The admission to the First Semester B.E. Courses will be open to a candidate, who 

(i) has qualified in the JEE(Main)-2013, conducted by the C.B.S.E., for admission to these 

courses. (See Note 1 below)

(ii) has passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate 

(55% marks in case of S.C./S.T./Physically Handicapped), conducted by a recognized 

Board/University/Council in March/April 2013 and not earlier than March/April 

2011. (See Note 2 & 3 below)

 

Entrance and Admission requirements

50% seats are for students passing out from the UT of Chandigarh and rest are for ALL India Students. 

The admission to the B.E. Courses will be based on the rank list prepared by CBSE taking into consideration the score in JEE (Main)2013 and normalised score in class 12th (60% and 40% weightage respectively). In addition to this, a candidate will be required to score atleast 15% marks in JEE (Main) 2013 and atleast 60% marks in class 12th. The candidates desirous of taking admission in any of the above six Institutes will have to register separately with JAC-2013 (Joint Admission Committee).The details of registration and the admission brochure will be available on the Institute/JAC website in the month of July, 2013. The student must fulfill the following conditions for taking admission to B.E. Courses

Eligibility

Offered in Civil, Environmental, Electrical, Electronics (VLSI Designs), Comp Sc. & Engg., Mechanical, Industrial Design,  Industrial Materials & Metallurgical, Production & Industrial, Total Quality & Mgt.

Degree from an IIT/AICTE approved institute must have 60% in qualifying exam or equivalent CGPA with 5% relaxation forSC/ST/Physically handicapped. 

Admissions on the basis of GATE scores.

Course Fee and Scholorships

M.Tech. - Rs. 33,250 for GATE candidates.

Eligibility

Mathematics, Computing 15 seats (Gen-11; Sc-2, ST-1; PH-1)
For admission the candidate must have recognised bachelor degree with Mathematics as a major subject
