PGDM C is approved by AICTE and AIU which equates it to a MBA degree.
Admission to the PGDM(C) programme requires a Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system) with minimum 50% marks, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply. Candidates who demonstrate aptitude for expressing, assessing, or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results tend to stand a better chance of being shortlisted.
Candidates should apply to MICA through scores of either CAT 2012 / XAT 2013 / GMAT . All those who have applied are called for MICA admission test (MICAT). MICAT is designed to assess analytical ability, divergent thinking, written communication skills and general awareness about the communications industry.
It is held in the month of march at avrious centres in India. Then the selected candidates are called or GD and Interveiw.
The Programme Cost for the PGDM-(C) for two years including tuition fee, residential charges (Boarding and Lodging) etc., : Rs. 12,00,000/- (approx.)
It is a 3 year program and intake is only 10.
It is an AICTE approved doctoral level programme offered in the communication discipline.
Applicants must have a Masters Degree/equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in any discipline of the Humanities /Social Sciences / Business Management having Communication/Journalism/Advertising/Public Relations/Media/Marketing as a core subject. The candidate also should have completed a three-year Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent.

Foreign nationals and NRIs whose qualifications are considered equivalent (by UGC/AICTE) to the qualifications listed above are also eligible to apply for the programme.
Candidates appearing for admission test will be provided lodging and boarding on MICA campus.
Stage 1: Telephone interviews for eligible candidates. Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates appear for MICA’s FPM Admission Test. FPM Admission Test is a two-day process organised at MICA campus comprising of Written Test (WT), Group Discussion (GD), Individual Presentation (IP) and Personal Interview (PI).
Various fees charged by Institute from FPM students are: i Fee to be paid along with completed FPM application form Rs. 2,000.00 ii Fee to be paid along with the acceptance of admission offer Rs. 25,000.00* *Rs. 15, 000 will be refunded after successful completion of first year and 5, 000 after successful completion of the programme.
Program duration is 1 year. programme leads to a certificate in Crafting Creative Communications with specialisation in Crafting Copywriting or Art Direction, depending on the module chosen by the student.
