Or MSc. in Biotechnology, Marine Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Botany/Zoology/Biochemistry, Micro biology/Genetics, Biophysics,Microbial Genetics and Bioinformatics, Marine Biology/Aquatic Biology and Fisheries/Environmental Biotechnology/Mari culture with 60% marks Or equivalent CGPA from any recognized Indian or foreign University (The selected candidates will be receiving a monthly stipend of Rs.8000/-).
For admission to M.Tech in Marine Bio-Technology, GATE score is not considered. Selection of candidates is done by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on behalf of Department of Bio-Technology, Government of India through a National Test along with all such examinations conducted by the JNU. For M.Sc Marine Geology:B.Sc degree in Geology/Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry with 55% aggregate marks in optionals.
For M. Sc. Marine Geophysics: B.Sc degree with at least 55% aggregate marks with (a) Geology main with Mathematics and Physics or Chemistry as subsidiaries; (b) Physics main with Mathematics and Geology or Chemistry or Electronics as subsidiaries; (c) Mathematics main with Physics and Geology or Chemistry as subsidiaries.
