You have to choose the science stream at 10+2 level, with biology as one of your subjects.Many Indian universities offer BSc degrees and M.Sc. in zoology. One should do a doctoral or at least a master's degree in zoology or relevant subjects to make a career as a zoologist. For post graduation you need to have B.Sc in zoology/Life science/any applied biological sciences. Most of the university select students through entrance, still there are few reputed university takes students on the basis of marks obtained in B.Sc.
