These designers help the companies in establishing product differentiation and also also in packaging differentiation. They also help the companies in keeping production costs low. Product designers work at all stages of product design and manufacture. They usually begin with concepts and offer various alternative designs for products. They work closely with the clients and other designers working on the product. The designer is responsible to ensure that the products are visually more appealing and also offer benefit or value for the customer. The product could be small one like a standup tube for toothpaste or could be a big product like washing machine.
