What is political research?

Political research as a career option involves carrying out extensive research and providing useful information for members of parliament, political parties or research institutions. It involves presenting a wide range of information on political, economic and social issues, after accumulating it from various sources and giving it an in-depth analysis. 

What do political researchers do?

Political researches maintain two way flow of information, they remain up to date with information which may be useful for employers and also pass on information to media and other concerned people as per directions from the employers. They carry out research in media, past campaigns and other related subjects affecting the employer or the constituency. Answer the queries form various people and do public relations work. they write detailed reports and present them. They keep the employers updated about political issues and write speeches and press releases. They also draft speeches and handle publicity and the media.
