Industrial Designer / Product Designer

In order to pursue Industrial Design as a career, one must pass 10+2 with science (Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics). Post this, one has to qualify in the entrance examination.

Since industries can be of varied fields and specifications therefore, courses offered in Industrial designing can be of varied interests. Most of the recognized colleges, institutions, and universities offer certain degree / or diploma courses in Designing with specialization in Automobile Designing, Textile Designing, Fashion designing, Lifestyle Accessories Designing, Craft Designing, Toy Designing, Software Designing, Computer Aided Industrial Designing, Furniture and Interior Designing, and Applied Ergonomics etc. There are a few institutions that offer Industrial designing course in Glass and Ceramics as well.

DTU B design fee 2018 : 1.5 lakhs a year.

3. Department of Design, IIT Guwahati Offers Programs: 4 year Bachelors of Design (B. Des) in Industrial Design and Communication Design

4. Delhi Technological University. Delhi offers Bachelor in Design course.There are 60seats in the course. The program offers specialization in Visual Communication Design, Product Design, Interactive Design. Students from any stream are eligible. The admission is on the basis of UCEED score.
