Since then, they've turned it into a fashion powerhouse”. The prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of American International Award was bestowed on Miuccia in 1993. This fashion powerhouse has expanded so exponentially that its portfolio now includes international labels such as Azzedine Alaia, Fendi, Helmut Lang, and Jill Sander.

Fashion designing is essentially about designing garments. Fashion designers use their creative abilities and sense of style to use various fabrics and techniques to create work of art. Fashion designing is science and art both. The designers need to know the science or the techniques behind creating garments.
