Event Manager

Corporate and governments host many types of events. Add to this the sports, music, art related events and political events. There is huge scope and many people are entering this field. Event manger is considered to be one of the emerging careers.

Depending on the schedule of the event, the event managers are involved in various activities throughout the day. On a typical day one may prepare project report, plan, presentation etc about the event and go for a scheduled meeting for getting the business with a client. After coming back to the office most of the is spent in coordinating with various agencies and vendors. Sometimes event managers have to find out sponsors for the events and look after the ticketing etc of the event. If the event is a live event it calls for a lot of preparations before and during the event. After the event submit a completion report to the clients or employers.
