Electrical Engineers have quite a varied work schedule and work style, depending on the area or field that they are working in. For example, someone in Research and Development work for defence industry would spend a lot of time in laboratory working with newer circuits and going through lot of industry journals. Apart from spending time on experimenting, the R&D engineer would also spend time in documenting the results and outputs of the experiments.
