Accounts Manager

In India, accounting is taught in the BCom or BCom (Hons) programme. BCom is the first degree in accounting which serves as a basis or an entry for professional or post-graduate degrees in accounting, commerce, business or management. B Com graduates can easily find employment as junior or middle level executives in banking, insurance, financial services and small and medium-size business firms.

One can pursue M Com and improve one’s employability in the accounting field.

Higher qualifications in accounting / finance open many careers for accounts graduates. One can pursue MBA and other professional courses like Chartered Accountancy, CFA, Cost and Works Accountancy, and Company Secretary if one wishes to pursue a career in finance at higher level. One can also go for Masters in International Business and finance related course like Master of Finance & Control and MA/ MSc in Finance etc. They can also do post graduate course in Economics and Business Economics.
